Gardner Publications is looking for an upbeat, focused, and well-organized sales professional to join our online publishing team. Gardner Pubications provides professional office and field training.

You must be comfortable making daily calls to schedule appointments, committed to gaining new clients and working as a team member.  You must also have demonstrated experience prospecting and growing an account list, as well as closing sales.

Responsibilities:

• Actively prospecting and qualifying potential new local advertising accounts.
• Calling a furnished list of prospects.
• Handling leads.
• Meeting revenue targets.
• Presenting our online news, lifestyles, & business directories to local business owners.
• Creating and updating sales proposals

Requirements:

• Experience in selling local advertising online or selling offline (yellow pages, newspaper, radio advertising), including at least one year of successful direct selling responsibility is a plus.
• A desire to earn more and to grow professionally is a requirement.
